Clearview Towing Mirrors are a full replacement towing mirrors meant to replace your vehicle’s standard side mirrors. Their clever design incorporates two different surfaces. The top mirror features a flat, reflective surface that reflects vision directly down the sides of your caravan. Whilst a smaller, bottom convex mirror helps eliminate blind spots by giving you more vision out to the lanes beside your vehicle.

Clearview Mirrors are easy to adjust. So you’re always able to quickly switch the mirror to areas like tyres, wheels or the undercarriage of your caravan. Clearview Mirrors are substantially larger than your standard side mirror. In standard driving position, Clearview Mirrors have a wider outwards reach of approximately 100mm; a total surface area much bigger than the standard models. When you’re ready to tow, Clearview Mirrors slide out an additional 100mm! An additional extension that allows for around a total 200mm of extension over standard side mirrors.

Clearview Mirrors are also designed to manually fold inwards or outwards towards the car. In case someone brushes past you in a car park. Clearview Towing Mirrors are supplied with plug and play wiring for easy installation when supplied with features replacing identical existing side mirror features. This means the features listed below will only operate as described if the feature existed in your standard side mirrors prior to being replaced with Clearview Towing Mirrors.

Features:

• Electric Glass Electrically adjustable upper flat mirror glass. Small lower convex mirror glass not available. Spare Parts available for purchase.
• Manual Glass Manually adjust upper flat mirror glass. Spare Parts available for purchase.
• Convex Glass Manually adjustable lower convex mirror glass for more vision in your blind spots. Large upper convex mirror glass available as an extra purchase item.
• Heated Glass Heated upper large flat glass with help de-mist your mirrors in frosty weather. This works off the vehicle de-mister. This feature will require hard wiring if your vehicle does not contain the pre-existing heated glass feature. Small heated lower convex mirror not available. Spare Parts available for purchase.
• Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) BSM icon illuminates on the flat mirror glass when the vehicle’s BSM sensors detect a vehicle passing on either side. If your vehicle does not contain the BSM feature, this is not a feature we can add to your vehicle as an aftermarket extra. BSM only available for vehicles with BSM in OEM mirror. 
• Power-folding base mount - Mirrors will fold electrically inwards towards the vehicle in the same manner as the original side mirrors if you choose the option of power-fold. This item is not available to purchase separately.
• UPGRADE TO AUTO-FOLD MODULE. - This feature can be enabled by installing an Auto-Fold Module in any vehicle with POWER-FOLD ONLY, either as a standard feature or by Clearview upgrade. Auto-Fold Modules are vehicle specific and only need be purchased if the vehicle doesn’t already have auto-fold.
• Indicators/Turn Signal Lights on the outside of the mirror head will illuminate when you turn your indicator on. Indicators are required to be in Clearview Mirrors by law if you have pre-existing indicators in your OEM (Original Electric Mirror) mirror. Spare Parts available.
• Manual-folding base mount - Mirrors will fold manually inwards towards the vehicle working off a cam and pin mechanism. Mirrors will be required to be folded by hand. This item is available to purchase separately.
• Chrome/Raw Cap Covers Chrome and Raw shells are available as an additional feature item. Chrome caps are a dipped chrome covering. Raw shells are a satin black finish ready to be painted to colour code to your vehicle. Chrome and Raw shells can be purchased separately.
• HARD WIRING For any features that require hard wiring, we recommend seeing an auto electrician to complete the installation. We do not recommend trying to hard wire yourself.

NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS WANTING THE 360 DEGREE CAMERA OPTION ON THEIR NEXT GEN MIRRORS WE NOW HAVE THE CAMERA OPTION AVAILABLE FOR THE NEXT GEN AND COMPACTS THAT CAN ACCOMMODATE THE MIRRORS THAT DO NOT HAVE BLIND SPOT MONITORING (4 WIRE)!! We do not sell our towing mirrors that accommodate cameras (360° View) online. We do this for the fact that blind-spot monitoring and ‘cameras’ can be confusing for some. These are two separate features, so to ensure that your vehicle can accommodate cameras and you receive the product you require, please contact us directly via phone/email or any of our dealers who can assist you with your order. Note: Only vehicles that have the 360° feature on their OEM mirrors will be able to accommodate the Clearview camera feature. There are no options to upgrade to this feature if it is not a standard feature on your vehicle.

IMPORTANT NOTES *CAMERA BRACKETS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE 200 SERIES WITH NO BLIND SPOT MONITORING (4 WIRE) BUT WE WILL NOTIFY YOU WHEN THEY BECOME AVAILABLE

1. HEATED GLASS feature is optional for models with Heated side mirrors
2. POWER-FOLD is an optional plug and play feature for Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series VX and SAHARA models with Power-Folding mirrors. All Power-Folding side mirrors can be upgraded to auto-folding with an Auto-Fold Module. An auto-fold upgrade is only necessary if the auto-fold feature is not already functional in the vehicle (if you have to press a button to fold the mirrors). UPGRADE OPTION: Upgrading GX and GXL models is possible, however a POWERFOLD UPGRADE WIRING KIT also needs to be ordered. If you have an “empty” switch location, KIT NO. 1 (SP-F-WK-01) includes the appropriate switch. If you are prepared and able (space permitting) to cut your own hole in the dashboard to install a control switch, KIT NO. 03 (SP-F-WK-03) should be ordered (see ‘Upgrades’ for the complete list of available Power-Fold Upgrade Kits). It is important to note that HARD-WIRING IS REQUIRED IN THIS SCENARIO ONLY and we recommend the Kit be installed by a registered Auto-Electrician. An additional 2 to 3 hours labour time will be required for the installation.
3. BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) feature is optional for 15 ONWARDS SAHARA AND MY19 VX models with BSM
4. This feature set is for 12 TO 14 SAHARA MODELS ONLY. The Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series 12 to 14 Sahara model side mirrors contain 4 WIRE LOOM CAMERAS.
5. Camera feature set is for 15 (FACELIFT) ONWARDS SAHARA AND MY19 VX MODELS ONLY. The Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series 15 (Facelift) onwards Sahara and MY19 VX model side mirrors contain 6 WIRE LOOM CAMERAS
