Back in the 1990s, when we started building the first-ever aluminium adventure canopies, we knew from our own travel experience that three factors are vital to the success of vehicle-based travel and/or overland equipment. These are weight, strength and versatility. The trick is to find a solution that offers the best combination of all three. Until engineers start building passenger planes out of fibreglass or stainless steel, we’re going to stick with the material that offers the best possible (and most economical) strength-to-weight ratio: Aluminium. But, aside from the obvious strength / weight benefits, we favour aluminium for its unsurpassed corrosion-resistance, its UV stability, its repair-ability, and its flexibility – essential qualities in any off-road environment.       Some exclusions apply, valid for all states, and applies to ground shipping via standard small parcel services like DHL, STAR TRACKS and other.

      We do not ship big stuff to small P.O. Box Addresses (because it won't fit)

      All orders that must ship truck freight will be shipped to the customer's nearest local freight terminal for WILL CALL pickup or to a verified commercial address for free. *Additional fees may apply.

      Melton 4WD is not liable for shipping damages that take place during transit. We work diligently to assure your products are packaged and secure and are in perfect condition when it leaves our facilities.

      Insurance is optional on POA shipping costs.

      Please be sure that when you arrive at the freight dock or specified location to pick up your products that you inspect it for any damage. If you receive the product and take it home and find hidden damage and you didn't note it on the paperwork from the freight carrier, we have no recourse with the freight company and cannot file a claim.
